This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) outlines how Bowl and Pet and its affiliates (“Bowl and Pet,” “we,” or “our”) handle information collected or provided concerning an end user (“you” or “your”) in connection with the use of the Bowl and Pet website (the “Site”) and all services offered by Bowl and Pet in connection with the Site (collectively, the “Services”), including our subscription pet food service. Please be aware that using the Services implies your agreement to this Policy, as detailed below:

EFFECTIVE DATE; CHANGES: This Policy applies to all information collected by or provided to us in connection with the Services. If we make any significant changes to this Policy, we will update the Effective Date above and notify you via email sent to the address linked to your Services account and/or within the Services the next time you log in. Your continued use of the Services following such notice will constitute your acceptance of the changes.

THIRD PARTIES: The Services may include offers from third parties or links to third-party websites, which may also be sent to registered users. This Policy does not cover information that you may provide to, or that may be collected by, third parties. We encourage you to request the applicable privacy policies and terms and conditions of such third parties before interacting with them or making purchases.

COLLECTED INFORMATION:

INFORMATION YOU SUBMIT: When you log in to the Services or create an account, we collect the information you provide on the relevant form. This includes personally identifiable information such as your mailing address, email address, and password. When we mention “personally identifiable information” in this Policy, we are referring to information that can be directly linked to a specific person or entity without additional data. If you choose not to share certain personally identifiable information with us, it may limit our ability to provide some or all of the features and functionalities of the Services.

INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY: While using the Services, certain non-personally identifiable information is automatically collected from you. This includes usage information, like when, how often, and for how long you use the Services and the content you submit and view. It also involves server log data, such as your IP address, operating system, or the webpage you were on before visiting our Site. TRANSACTIONS: When you participate in a transaction through the Services, such as making a payment for a product or setting up recurring payments for our subscription services, our third-party payment processor will receive your payment information for processing the transaction. Bowl and Pet will receive the payment after deducting any applicable fees in accordance with our agreement with the third-party payment processor. Please note that Bowl and Pet does not receive your credit card or other payment information.

SOCIAL NETWORKING INFORMATION: It may be possible to create a Services account by logging in through a social networking site, such as Facebook (referred to as “Social Sites”). This integration allows you to automatically populate your Services profile with information and content from your Social Site account and invite your Social Site connections to join the Services. It may also enable us to enhance our advertising on such Social Sites (where enabled by the respective Social Site). Information and content obtained in this manner will be handled in accordance with this Policy. Remember that the way Social Sites use, store, and disclose your information and content is governed by their terms, conditions, and privacy policies, along with any privacy settings you may control—not by Bowl and Pet.

USE OF INFORMATION: We utilize the personally identifiable and non-personally identifiable information collected about you as follows:

  • Submitted information is used for the purposes you provided it, such as creating and maintaining your Services account or responding to your queries submitted via email or our customer service chat function. Both submitted and collected information are essential for providing the Services’ features and functionality to you.
  • We may send you emails regarding updates or modifications to the Services.
  • Submitted and collected information is employed to personalize content based on personal preferences and characteristics, both for you and other users.
  • Analyzing collected information related to your Services usage helps us improve the Services and develop better products and services.

  • Aggregated, de-identified data on Services activity may be reported to third parties or the general public. We may combine this data with information from third-party sources to generate such reports.

We may also use information to investigate and prevent illegal activities, suspected fraud, or violations of our terms and conditions. VIEWING AND AMENDING INFORMATION: You can access your Services account to view, amend, or delete your user account information at any time. Please be aware that while changes or deletions of your account information are promptly reflected in active user databases, our servers may retain previously provided information. Changes or deletions to your Services account user information do not impact other information collected by Bowl and Pet, which may be retained and utilized according to this Policy.

CHOICES REGARDING THIRD-PARTY OFFERS: For commercial emails regarding third-party marketing or promotional materials, you will have the ability to opt out of receiving such emails in compliance with applicable law. We will not provide your personally identifiable information to third parties for their own marketing purposes without your consent.

ONLINE BEHAVIORAL ADVERTISING: We may engage third-party online advertising technology service providers to deliver advertisements to you on websites you visit after using the Services. This is known as “re-targeting.” You can limit tracking through these third-party programs by following the steps discussed above, even though the Services do not currently respond to “do not track” browser headers.

SECURITY: The personally identifiable information we collect about you is stored in servers with limited access. We maintain reasonable safeguards to protect these servers and your personally identifiable information. However, no security measures are 100% foolproof, and we cannot guarantee the security of your personally identifiable information.

TRANSFER AS CORPORATE ASSET: In the event of a merger, sale of capital stock or assets, reorganization, consolidation, or a similar transaction involving Bowl and Pet, the information we possess (including personally identifiable information) will be transferred as a corporate asset to the acquiring entity. The acquiring entity will continue to handle this information in accordance with this Policy.

TRANSFER TO INDIA AND OTHER COUNTRIES: Bowl and Pet operates in India and uses facilities there. Your information will be stored and processed in India or other countries where Bowl and Pet has facilities. By using the Services, you consent to the transfer of your information outside your country, even if your country has stricter data protection standards.

CHILDREN UNDER 13: Bowl and Pet does not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and the Services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. If you are a parent and believe that your child under 13 has used the Services and provided personally identifiable information through them, please contact us at hello@bowlpet.in. We will work to delete the Services account and any personally identifiable information associated with it.
